• Sucheta Mondal from the group of Prof. Anjan Barman won the Best Poster Award in the 3rd International Advanced School on Magnonics 2018 supported by IEEE Magnetics Society at Kyiv, Ukraine during September 17-21, 2018.
• Mr. Keshab Karmakar from the group of Prof. Kalyan Mandal has got the best poster Award in European Materials Research Society Meeting 2018 held in Poland.
• A new milestone in the Annals of S. N. Bose Centre. The Centre has done its first Technology transfer under Technical Research Centre (TRC) project through National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) to a start up company for 'Non-invasive Quantitative Estimation of Haemoglobin in Blood'.
